Bathroom remodeling in Tarrant County, from Fort Worth to the Mid-Cities

Tarrant County sits between our two offices: the Dallas service office to the east and the Weatherford head office to the west, so we reach it from both sides.

Quick answer

D&T Contractor Services covers Tarrant County from two directions: the Weatherford head office for Fort Worth and the west side, and the Dallas service office for Arlington and the Mid-Cities. The work runs from tub-to-shower conversions in established Fort Worth neighborhoods to master bath remodels in Southlake, Colleyville and Keller.

Between our offices

Two offices, one county

Tarrant County is large enough to have several different bathroom markets in it. Fort Worth's older neighborhoods have the same tired tile, galvanized lines and slab movement we see in Dallas; Arlington and Grand Prairie bring a lot of 1970s and 1980s hall baths; and the northeast corner around Southlake, Colleyville, Grapevine and Keller is where the larger master bath projects are.

Jobs on the west side are scheduled from Weatherford, and jobs toward Arlington and the Mid-Cities from Dallas, so nobody spends half the day on the highway.

A county that keeps growing

Around Dallas

Tarrant County passed 2.23 million people in 2024, and Fort Worth crossed one million residents that July, becoming the 11th largest city in the country. Growth like that brings both kinds of bathroom work: new owners updating older Fort Worth homes they bought, and families in newer subdivisions turning a builder-grade bath into the room they actually want, with a proper shower and storage.

What Tarrant County bathrooms need most often

Fort Worth's older neighborhoods, like the ones around the Near Southside and Arlington Heights, have bathrooms with original tile, cast iron and galvanized pipe, and floors that have moved with the clay over the decades. Arlington and the Mid-Cities are mostly 1970s to 1990s houses where the hall bath still has its first tub and the master has a small shower that never drained well.

In Southlake, Colleyville, Keller and Grapevine the houses are larger and the requests are bigger: removing a garden tub, building a walk-in shower with a bench and niche, adding a second sink and better lighting, or turning a dated master into a room that suits a long-term home. We plan those around the city's permit and inspection schedule from the first visit.

How it works

How a Tarrant County job runs

We book the walkthrough from whichever office is closer to you. Permits come from the city the house is in, such as Fort Worth, Arlington or Southlake, and each has its own building department and inspection schedule, which we plan around from the start.
